It's past the holidays now, but this Twelve Pains poem rings true no matter the time.
The twelve things of deployment that are such a pain to me:
12 missed calls while errand running
11 Murphy’s Laws attacking
10 FRG functions happening
9 gained pounds wiggling, jiggling
8 months left of waiting
7 neighbor kids visiting
6 of them fighting
5 animals to feed!!!
4 loads of laundry needs washing
3 Three toilets leaking
2 CYS hours left for using
And finding where the movers hid the tree.
