My Story
Colleen was born in California in 1981, but was raised in Georgia. Her father was in the Army and her family moved to many cities, finally settling in Georgia. She married her high school sweetheart in 2000. He was in the Army, and they moved to Fort Riley, Kansas. Colleen attended college at Barton County Community College. In 2002 they moved to Fort Knox, Kentucky where Colleen attended Elizabethtown Community College. She was in Phi Theta Kappa and on the Dean’s List. Later she and her husband had two children. She put college on hold and stayed home to raise their two daughters. They moved to Fort Stewart, GA where Colleen volunteered as an FRG Leader for several years. She is currently a Girl Scout troop leader and works for Her War Her Voice as an in person group leader for Fort Stewart and online moderator. Colleen also enjoys calligraphy, Olympic weightlifting, and coffee.
